"Hello Tomorrow", an international challenge on disruptive technologies

Hello Tomorrow intends to connect and empower the young leaders who dare to “build tomorrow” through technology innovation. Its goal is to facilitate reconciliation between the world of research and industrial groups. They believe that technology is the mother of the most incredible ventures and projects, essential to the economic growth of our countries.

The challenge is appealing the most creative minds from very different backgrounds to compete in one of the following 8 "Sector Tracks", identified as critical for the years to come:

  • Energy
  • Healthcare
  • Food & Agriculture
  • Finance
  • Manufacturing
  • Transportation
  • Construction
  • IT & Com

More than 40 international leaders already joined the jury and the initiative is backed by big corporate groups, great scientific institutions, and the French government.

What do the winners get?

The grand finalist will receive a cash prize of 100 k€ and 8 semifinalists from each of the remaining categories will receive at least 15 k€. In addition to these cash prizes, after the selection round, a pool of experts will nurture, mentor and prepare the semifinalists to be judged by an elite international jury of entrepreneurs, investors, corporates and researchers.

The final event

The Hello Tomorrow Conference will host 3,000+ attendees in the unequalled Cité des Sciences, in Paris. It will stage rock star speakers sharing their vision about how tech & science are building our tomorrow, showcase the most innovative tech/science startups and the Challenge grand finale will follow in the evening.

2015 Milestones

December 1st 2014 : Beginning of application period for the 2015 Challenge
February 15th 2015 : End of application period
February to May : Mentoring of 40 selected startups
June 25th and 26th : Yearly conference & Challenge Grand Finale in Paris

Hello Tomorrow is a non-profit organization founded in 2011 by Xavier Duportet and Arnaud De La Tour. It aims at creating bridges between scientists, investors and entrepreneurs in all major technological fields. In 2014, we organized the first edition of the Hello Tomorrow Challenge, a global competition of tech-startups in Europe and the “First Day of Tomorrow” Conference, which gathered more than 1,500 participants at “La Cité des Sciences” in Paris on April 2014.
