applies only to Canadian Citizens applying for a short stay visa
to Djibouti.
Djibouti ( which do not
have an Embassy or Consular office in Canada ) is represented
by the French Consulate for visa purposes.If you are a Canadian
citizen and wish to visit Djibouti,
you need to apply for a visa before departure. It will allow you
to stay up to 30 or 90 days and it's valid for six months.

Documents required |
the
original of your passport;
one short-stay visa application
form per country you intend to visitand one recent original picture
cut to the size indicated on the form and glued to it .
For business trips, a letter of invitation from
the company you are going to visit explaining the reason of your
trip plus one photocopy.
a
round-trip ticket or flight reservation itinerary plus
one photocopy of each.
proof of excess emergency
medical insurance plus one photocopy. It can be bought from
any travel agency. Provincial medical plan not sufficient
therefore
not accepted.
Do not fax any documents to the French Consulate. Incomplete applications
will be returned by courier service at your own expense.

Time process |
For Canadians
who wish to visit for a maximum stay of 10 days, we can issue
a visa immediately. However, for a stay of more than 10 days,
it takes between
6 and 8 working days (do not count weekends or holidays) to
process the visa application. When it is authorized, we will
contact
you to inform you when to pick it up.
